A developing storm system will bring a mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow to the area this weekend. A winter storm watch has been posted for the Goose Lake area. At the present time it appears that the worst conditions will be Saturday and Saturday night with precipitation changing to all rain on Sunday. Be sure and monitor the latest forecasts and road conditions if you plan on traveling this weekend.

Wet snow showers began around 2:15PM this afternoon. This was the first real snowfall of the season but doesn’t seem to bother Maggie, our Border Collie pup. Not much accumulation is expected.
